These terms cover the HeySkip marketing site at heyskip.app and the beta signup form. The HeySkip app has separate in-app terms that apply once you log in.
The beta
HeySkip is currently in closed beta. The beta is free for the 2026 summer season for coaches accepted during the beta signup window. There is no credit card required and no contract.
“Beta” means the app is under active development. Features may change, break, or be removed. We try hard not to break things, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
What we ask of beta coaches
When you sign up for the beta, you agree to:
- Actually use HeySkip during your games (not just sign up and sit on it).
- Share honest feedback when something works or does not work.
- A short end-of-season conversation about how it went.
This is the whole exchange. Feedback is how HeySkip gets better.
Pricing after the beta
HeySkip is expected to move to paid V1.0 pricing after the beta window closes. If that happens:
- We will tell every beta coach before anything changes.
- Beta coaches will get the best pricing available.
- No auto-enrollment. You choose whether to continue.
Your content
Any roster, game, or team data you put into HeySkip belongs to you. You can export it or request deletion at any time. See the privacy policy for details.
Things we do not promise
- We do not guarantee HeySkip will be available every minute of every day.
- We do not guarantee every feature will work perfectly on every device.
- We do not guarantee specific outcomes for your team.
HeySkip is provided as-is during the beta. Use it because it helps you coach, not because of any promise we made.
Things you should not do
- Do not use HeySkip for any team, league, or purpose outside youth baseball or softball coaching.
- Do not scrape, resell, or repackage the service.
- Do not use HeySkip to harass, harm, or deceive anyone.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a meaningful way, we will email every active beta coach at least seven days before the change takes effect.
