Privacy Policy

HeySkip is a youth baseball and softball lineup tool built by a coach. This privacy policy covers the HeySkip marketing site at heyskip.app. The HeySkip app itself has its own in-app privacy policy that applies when you log in.

What we collect on this site

When you fill out the beta signup form, we collect:

• Your name and email address
• Your team name, age group, league type, and state
• Optional answers you choose to give (phone number, what you’re currently using, waitlist preference)
• Technical metadata like IP address and the page you submitted from, for spam prevention only

That’s it. No cookies tracking you across the web. No ad networks.

What we do with it

Your signup information is used for one thing: so Ben (the coach who built HeySkip) can email you about getting set up with the beta. If you provided a phone number with permission to text, he may text you instead.

Aggregate, anonymous usage data from Vercel Analytics helps us understand which sections of the page work. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies and does not track individuals.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your information. Ever. To anyone.
• We do not share your information with advertisers.
• We do not use your information to train AI models.
• We do not send you marketing emails unrelated to HeySkip.

Spam prevention

The signup form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-friendly CAPTCHA alternative that does not require cookies or personal data to verify you are a human.

How long we keep your data

As long as you are a HeySkip beta coach, or until you ask us to delete it.

Deleting your data

Email hello@heyskip.app with the subject “Delete my data” and we will remove your signup record within seven days.

Kids’ data

This landing page is not intended for use by anyone under 13. The HeySkip app handles youth team rosters. Coaches manage rosters on behalf of their teams. Player data in the app is covered by the in-app privacy policy and is not collected from kids directly.
